Cheap Beer: O’Fallon Pumpkin Beer Now At Dirt Cheap

Dear Beer Drinkers,

cheap beer ofallon pumpkin

History is full of great minds…Thomas Edison, Benjamin Franklin, Leonardo da Vinci. And what do they all have in common? They were inventors!
Well, I’ve come to the conclusion that there is great travesty in the history books! A great mind isn’t getting its due credit – the creator of pumpkin beer. I mean, think about it. Beer and pumpkins. Pure genius.

So I turned to the Internet! Who is this mysterious person? Well, it turns out no one actually knows. I guess the inventor forget to put their name on the first bottle. Womp. Womp.

I did find something shocking. At one time people considered pumpkin beer to be healthy!

“Different kinds of beer, ale, &c. are often prepared according to the prescriptions of the physicians, all of which, as well as pumpkin and bran beer, partake of the virtues of the ingredients put into such liquors.”

Obviously, a lot has changes since 1801. I would not recommend beer to ease an illness, just a long day at the office. Wink. Wink.

So we may not know who brewed the first pumpkin beer, or agree on its purported health benefits, but we do know one thing…it tastes darn good!

And why does it taste so good? It’s all that pumpkin taste. My friends over at O’Fallon Brewing Company tell me they use 136 pounds of pumpkins for each batch of beer. Wow! It makes you wonder how they get all those pumpkins into the bottle afterwards.

If you haven’t guessed, the good folks at Dirt Cheap have all the pumpkin beer you need! And best of all…its on the cheap. In my opinion, you can’t have good beer, unless it’s also cheap beer. And when I say cheap, I’m just talking about the price. For example a delicious, local, craft pumpkin beer like O’Fallon Brewing Company won’t pinch your wallet.
