American Budweiser Bottles

4th of July Drinks, On the Cheap!

Alright folks, 4th of July is coming up! It’s time for barbecues, pool parties, fireworks, and, of course, 4th of July Drinks! So, what are you going to be drinking when you’re having a clucking good time on the 4th? It’s only fitting that you indulge in an ice cold piece of American Tradition. I know I will!

In case you aren’t sure what to wet your beak with, I have some of my favorites to share.

The King Of Beers

That’s right, Budweiser, The King of Beers, as it is known. America’s first national beer brand, Budweiser Lager Beer is a staple of the Anheuser-Busch Company. Usually seen delivered by Clydesdales and enjoyed out of bottles and cans draped in the American Flag, Budweiser Lager is rich in American Tradition and a perfect choice for a 4th of July Drink. Anheuser-Busch also offers superb alternatives, like members of the Bud Light Family & Michelob Ultra Family, Stella Artois, Shock Top, and Landshark.

Wild Turkey

My crazy cousin, Wild Turkey, has been American from the start, founded in 1869 in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky by the Ripy Family. While it’s hard to get more American than some Kentucky Bourbon, in 2006, Wild Turkey USA set out to build on their American brand by making a honey liqueur available to the masses, as it had originally only been available at the distillery. It’s the American Honey that you and I know well today. It’s perfect for mixing in many exciting cocktails or tailor-made shots. So grab some mixes and throw something together! Throw in some fresh limes and mix with a ginger beer for a refreshing holiday treat! Go crazy with the Wild!

Fireball

While Fireball is not entirely American (There are some Canadian Fireball Distilleries), I think we can all attribute at least one clucking good time to it (I think I’ll taste cinnamon the rest of my life). The bottom line is, Fireball is a great addition to throw in the cooler and break out when it’s time for shots and giving the party that little kick in the pants.

So, these will make up my perfect trifecta of 4th of July Drinks. Take my lead or create your own, if you like. Just make sure you have something ice cold to cool you while the sun beats down and before it’s time to watch fireworks bursting. Have fun, but be careful out there!
